		<description>It is important for you to note in this helpful post that the EPP code can ONLY be sent to whomever is listed as the &quot;Administrative&quot; contact in the WhoIs database.  Therefore, if your domain is private, you will need to cancel the privacy, wait up to 24 hours until the WhoIs updates the change, THEN request the code, otherwise you will not receive it.  You will also need to be sure the email address is one you still have access to and if not, change it.  

HOWEVER, do not change anything other than that address, even if all other contact info is inaccurate once you cancel the privacy and can see it.  Changing registrant information caused a domain to &quot;lock&quot; for 60 days and it cannot be transferred during that time. This is a domain hijacking prevention measure approved by ICANN. It&#039;s better to leave it incorrect and update the info at your new registrar after the transfer completes.</description>
